Installation of AD OnLine

To see our images of the old documents, you must install our software AD OnLine. Follow the instructions below to get started.

Windows

Download and install the latest version of ADOnLine2, http://www.arkivdigital.se/download/images/716/adonline2_installer-1.3.exe

Mac OS X
Click on: http://www.arkivdigital.se/download/images/695/adonline2-1.2.dmg

Windows

Click on: http://www.arkivdigital.se/download/images/658/adonline2_installer-1.1.exe to install AD OnLine (version 1.1)

MAC OS X

NOTE! Mac OS X 10.4 or higher required.

  1. Once Java is installed, you can install AD OnLine. Use this link to start the installation process: http://apps.arkivdigital.se/adstart/adstart-adonline.jnlp.
  2. Immediately after installation, the program will start automatically.
    The next time and thereafter you are supposed to start AD OnLine by double-clicking the icon on your desktop. To log in, fill in your e-mail address and password in the login box (the same as when you registered on our website). It is very important that you write exactly like you wrote when you registered. There is a difference between upper and lower case letters.
  3. The first time you log in, you will be presented with a box saying "You have no active subscriptions". To activate, select your subscription from the list and click on the "Aktivera" (Activate) button. When your subscription is activated  you will be presented the login box again. Log in the same way as you did before.

Linux

Linux (only on Intel / AMD 32/64 bit for the moment).

  1. To install AD OnLine, you must have Java installed on your computer.
    If you don't have Java installed or if you're not sure if you have, go to: http://www.java.com/ and follow the instructions there how to install Java.
  2. Once you have the latest version of Java, you can install AD OnLine. Use this link to start the installation process: http://apps.arkivdigital.se/adstart/adstart adonline.jnlp.
  3. Immediately after installation, the program will start automatically.
    Each and every-time you wish to start AD OnLine, simply double-click the icon on your desktop. To log in, fill in your e-mail address and password in the login box (the same as when you registered on our website). It is very important that you write your email address and password exactly the same way as when you first registered. Our login system recognizes both upper and lower case letters.
