| Information | Tärna lappkapell i Lycksele stod färdigt 1762. Gudstjänst hölls ett par gånger om sommaren av komministern i Sorsele, för vilket ändamål en skrift- och kommunionbok skulle anskaffas. På försök anställdes en kapellpredikant i Tärna 1780 men sedan först innehavaren 1783 fått transport uppehölls gudstjänsten i Tärna åter av prästerskapet i Lycksele-Sorsele till 1822, då Tärna ingick i det nybildade Stensele pastorat. Genom k. brev 8 juni 1853 konstituerades Tärna som kapellag under Stensele med egen predikant och avskildes fr.o. m. 1 maj 1903 till särskilt pastorat (k. brev 12 sept. 1902). Enligt k. brev 13 sept. 1865 skulle den gamla Skytteanska lappskolan, som förut varit stationerad i Lycksele, öveflyttas till Tärna. Förflyttningen fullbordades till höstterminen 1867. Kapell finns i Vojtjajaure, invigt 1933. |
