| Information | För att tillgodose själavården och främja kolonisation medgav lappmarksdirektionen 1783-04-26 att ett kapell uppfördes i Volgsjö. Genom kungl brev 1799-05-07 blev Volgsjö kapellag annexförsamling till Åsele församling. Namnet ändrades genom kungl förordning 1804-06-16 till Vilhelmina och utbrytning till eget pastorat ägde rum enligt kungl brev 1812-05-20. Fatmomakke lappkapell uppfördes ungefär samtidigt med Volgsjö kapell och gudstjänst kunde hållas med hjälp av prästen från Volgsjö kapell. Kapellet i Fatmomakke stod färdigt 1791; se ämbetsberättelse 1791 i domkapitlets i Härnösand arkiv, volym F III bf: 16. Dikanäs kapell uppfördes 1832-1833 enligt kanslistyrelsens medgivande 1829-12-05. Tillsammans med Fatmomakke erhöll det egen kapellpredikant i början av 1900-talet med bostad i Dikanäs. Genom kungl brev 1922-05-26 och 1923-05-04 förordnades att Dikanäs by jämte kringliggande område fr o m 1923-05-01 skulle utgöra särskilt kyrkobokförings- distrikt benämnt Dikanäs kbfd. Genom kungl brev 1917-03-23 bildades Vilhelmina municipalsamhälle, som utvidgades genom kungl brev 1922-02-10 och 1927-04-08. 1962 bröts Latikbergs kbfd och Saxnäs kbfd ut ur Vilhelmina kbfd. Vilhelmina kbfd och Latikbergs kbfd förenades 1978-01-01 till Vilhelmina kbfd. Återstående kbfd upplöstes 1988-12-31. |
