| Information | Skellefteå stad anlades år 1844 å Norrböle bys ägor. Skellefteå lydde under landsrätt fram till 1879 då rådhusrätt och magistrat tillkom. Från och med 1967 tillhörde Skellefteå rådhusrätt i Skellefteå domsaga (f.d. Västerbottens norra domsaga) och lades under Skellefteå tingslags häradsrätt. 1971 ersattes såväl häradsrätter som i städerna kvarvarande rådhusrätter av tingsrätter, varmed Skellefteå tingslags häradsrätt ersattes av Skellefteå tingsrätt. I Skellefteå rådhusrätts domkrets ingick under den tid rådhusrätten var verksam, dvs. åren 1879-1966, Skellefteå stadsförsamling, som år 1961 bytte namn till Skellefteå Sankt Olov. |
